Glass Repair & Installation
WINDOW GLASS REPAIR

Replace the glass. Keep the window.

770 Pro repairs cracked, broken, and foggy window glass across the GTA – replacing just the pane or sealed unit whenever the frame and sash are still in good shape.

WINDOW GLASS SERVICE

A damaged pane doesn’t automatically mean a new window.

A crack, a broken pane, or fog trapped between the glass is usually a problem with the glass itself — not the whole window.

When the frame, sash, and hardware are still sound, 770 Pro replaces only what has failed: a single pane of glass or a complete sealed (insulated) glass unit. The window stays in place and the opening keeps working the way it should.

If the window itself has reached the end of its practical life, we’ll tell you honestly and walk you through replacement options instead.

Fix the glass first. Replace the window only if you have to.

Our goal is to solve the window glass problem without turning it into a full window replacement project.

WINDOW GLASS WE SERVICE

Two common window glass jobs. One repair-focused team.

Whether it’s a single pane or a sealed double-pane unit, we start with the glass — not the whole window.

Cracked or Foggy Window?

You may not need a new window. Let 770 Pro assess the glass and recommend the right repair — a new pane, a new sealed unit, or replacement only if it’s truly needed.

COMMON WINDOW GLASS ISSUES

Signs your window glass needs attention.

These problems usually start with a glass assessment — not a complete window replacement.
Cracked Window Glass

Stress or impact cracks tend to spread over time and can compromise safety, comfort, and appearance.

Broken or Shattered Panes

A broken pane can often be replaced on its own while the existing frame and sash stay in place.

Foggy Windows

Condensation or haze between the panes usually means the seal has failed — the sealed unit is the issue, not the window.

Chipped or Scratched Glass

Deep chips and scratches can weaken the pane and obscure the view, making replacement glass the cleaner fix.

Worn Glazing & Seals

Dried-out glazing, loose glazing beads, or worn seals around the glass can often be addressed without a new window.

Not Sure What’s Wrong?

We’ll help separate a glass problem from a broader window frame or hardware issue.

HOW IT WORKS

From damaged window glass to the right fix.

Tell us about the window

Share where the window is, what happened, and a photo if you have one.

We assess the glass and frame

We check whether the problem can be solved at the glass level or whether the window itself has failed.

Replace the pane or sealed unit

When the frame and sash are serviceable, we replace only the damaged glass — no unnecessary window replacement.

New window only when needed

If the window has reached the end of its practical life, we can move into replacement and installation.

Why 770 Pro

Window glass service built around the repair, not the upsell.

770 Pro brings two decades of door, window, and glass experience to every project, with a practical, repair-first approach focused on restoring what can be repaired before recommending replacement.
Repair-first thinking

We ask what can be restored before ever recommending a new window.

Two decades of experience

Hands-on experience with single-pane glass and sealed glass units in residential windows.

Replacement when it’s actually needed

New windows remain an option when repair is no longer the practical path.

GTA service

Window glass repair is available across the Greater Toronto Area.

REPAIR VS. REPLACEMENT

Not every window glass problem needs a new window.

When the frame, sash, and hardware still work well, replacing only the damaged pane or sealed unit addresses the actual problem — with less disruption to your home. A full window replacement becomes the next step only when the window itself is no longer a practical candidate for repair or continued use.
FAQs

Window glass repair questions.

The right solution depends on what has actually failed — the glass, the seal, or the window itself.
Can you replace just the glass without replacing the whole window?
In many cases, yes. If the frame and sash are still in good condition, the damaged pane or sealed unit can be replaced on its own. We assess the window before recommending anything larger.
Fog or condensation between the panes usually means the seal on the insulated glass unit has failed and moisture has entered. Replacing the sealed unit typically restores a clear view without replacing the whole window.
We service glass in most common residential window styles. Send us a photo and a few details, and we’ll confirm whether the glass can be replaced on its own.
If the frame is rotted, warped, or no longer operates properly, we’ll explain your options and can discuss replacement and installation instead of forcing a temporary repair.
Yes. 770 Pro also provides door glass repair, with the same repair-first approach.
